Just Another Day

With 4 kids there is almost always something crazy going on at our house. Today was just another day in the life of the Paganelli household. I brought the easel outside so the boys could paint and be messy. The girls were playing in the bouncers outside and Hadley started to get fussy. I ran in to get her paci so I could try and put her to sleep. Tanner was innocently painting when I ran inside.

I was probably inside for 30 seconds or less and this is what I found when I came back out.

Poor Delaney didn't seem to mind being painted but I was not so happy. Here are some more pics from today.

Captain America was in mid temper tamptrum but the camera distracted him

This and That

First of all, Happy 5 Months to my sweet girls! Time is flying!

I am starting to get a little more comfortable going places by myself with all 4 kiddos. A new friend from our Sunday School class, Jen, invited us to the zoo last week. She has a little boy that is 4 and one that is a few weeks younger than the girls. She was meeting some other moms from her son Mack's class at school. I was very nervous but she assured me there would be plenty of other moms there to help. So I decided to tough it out and try it. The kids actually were better than expected and we had a great time. Here are a few pics from the day.

Thank goodness the splash pad was open! It was so hot and the boys loved playing in the water.

Saturday we took advantage of the warm weather and spent the morning at the park. We even took a blanket and picnic lunch. I am so glad spring is here!

We are so glad it is finally warm outside. Our days go much faster! Can't wait for summer!

4 Months!

I can't believe my babies are already 4 months old! Delaney finally passed her sister in weight. She now weighs 13 lbs 5 oz and Hadley is 13 lbs even. Hadley is still longer but just by a touch. They both have colds and poor Hadley has her first ear infection but other than that they are perfect! Hadley is doing much better with her reflux since we started her new medicine and she goes for an upper GI on Wednesday. Hopefully everything will be normal. Life here is still crazy but it is starting to get a little easier. I still can't believe we have 2 girls!

They're Here!

Our beautiful angels have finally arrived! I was scheduled for a c-section on Wednesday, October 27 but apparently the girls had other ideas. My mom had been here for awhile and decided to go home for one last weekend on Friday before the planned c-section. She had been home about an hour or two when I called her with the news that I thought my water had broken and to head back to Birmingham. After I got Joey home from work and a quick trip through the drive-thru at McDonald's (no I am not kidding, Joey insisted on stopping to get himself dinner) we arrived at the hospital. We had about an hour and a half to prepare ourselves for the big arrival and then it was off to surgery. Delaney Rae Paganelli was born at 8:15 pm and was 6 lbs even and 18 3/4 inches long. Hadley Elizabeth Paganelli was born at 8:16 and was 6 lbs 3 ounces and 19 3/4 inches long. Hadley had a low temperature so she was sent to NICU but was reunited with us by Sunday. We all came home together and they are just wonderful. They are great sleepers and the boys have adjusted well to having little sisters. We are one big happy family of 6!

What a surreal feeling to be handed two bundles of joy at the same time!

Hadley is already trying to talk to Delaney. These two are going to have lots of fun together!

Movin' On Up

I haven't posted in a while because we have had a lot going on. I think we are settled in now but in the span of a week we went from this

to this

and a few days later we went from this

to this

We absolutely love our new house. It has so much more space for the kids to play. The best part about it is this

The boys have a huge playroom upstairs which means there are zero toys downstairs. My dream come true! All the kids rooms are upstairs too so the downstairs is truly an adult space. We spend all day upstairs and once the kids are in bed, Joey and I come downstairs and relax...

We absolutely love our new house. We are so happy to have more space and thankful the boys adjusted so well. And as much as I hate to admit it, I actually really like the mini-van too!

A little late...

Okay so this is actually way late since we found out the news about 6 weeks ago but...we are having 2 GIRLS! I went in for a regular ultrasound (without Joey) and the tech told me she could tell the gender. I asked her to write down the gender for Baby A and Baby B and put them in seperate envelopes and seal them. I took the boys and went straight to meet Joey for lunch and we each opened one. We were both completely shocked when both of our envelopes said girls! I think we just expected them to be boys since that is all we know. We are very excited about having girls and just a little nervous. I am having so much fun shopping for girl stuff. We have picked out names but I am not going to put them on here because some of our family want to be surprised and not find out until their birth. Here are a few pictures of our girls and one of my huge belly!

I know this picture looks like I am 36 weeks pregnant but I promise this is just at 19 weeks!
